What follows describes the product as it stood at the launch of the private beta. Everything announced here as "coming soon" has since shipped, except the Android app. See the changelog for what actually landed and when.

At the time of writing, after months of development and testing, Safety Checkpoint had just entered private beta. That milestone served our core mission: help emergency messages get delivered when users cannot send them manually.
What the Private Beta Opened With
The core mission remains unchanged: automatic emergency communication when users cannot send it themselves.
Whether you are a solo traveler, activist, or someone who needs regular check-ins, your pre-written emergency message can still reach trusted contacts when timing matters most. During beta, early-adopter feedback shaped every part of the product.

Announced Next: Audio Message Alerts
At launch we flagged audio as the next layer. It has since shipped: voice context so contacts understand urgency and intent faster. See the changelog.
The plan was to let users record a personal message delivered alongside emergency alerts, so contacts could hear your voice explaining the situation, priorities, and next steps.
